Below are highlights and a link to the Arkansas Imagination Library 2025 Annual Report. This report highlights the many accomplishments and projects completed this year.
Because of our legislators, donors, volunteers, Local Program Partners, and supporters, more than 82,000 Arkansas children are currently enrolled, and over 256,387 children and families have been impacted since 2005,” said Fred Leonard, Board Chair for Arkansas Imagination Library. “These numbers represent families reading together and children building strong foundations for lifelong learning.”
Other major accomplishments in 2025 include:
- Arkansas started offering a complete bilingual English/Spanish book collection statewide.
- Arkansas Local Program Partners mailed over 6 million books since 2005.
- UAMS began enrolling all newborns (and siblings) into the Imagination Library before they leave the hospital, joining a growing number of Arkansas hospitals – Baptist Health, White River Health, CHI St. Vincent, Jefferson Regional, and CHRISTUS Health) working to ensure that every child begins life with access to books, early learning opportunities, and family bonding through reading.
